POST-FOURTH OF JULY NEIGHBORHOOD CLEANUP

Every year, our beaches, parks, and neighborhoods experience a significant increase in litter following the Fourth of July weekend. That’s where we need your help!

Keep Walton County Beautiful (KWCB) is inviting neighborhoods across Walton County to participate in our Post–Fourth of July Neighborhood Cleanup on Saturday, July 5 and Sunday, July 6. This is a fun and meaningful opportunity for your community to come together, show pride in your surroundings and help protect the places we all enjoy.

When you sign up to host your own cleanup, KWCB can help by providing:

All cleanup supplies (trash bags, gloves, grabbers, etc.)

Promotional materials (t-shirts, social media graphics, etc.)

Promotion of your cleanup on our websitenewsletter and social media

What We Ask From You:

Host your cleanup on July 5 or 6 at a public or neighborhood beach access

Submit a short post-event recap (number of volunteers, amount of trash collected and a few photos)

To sign up, please fill out the form on our website by June 23: Neighborhood Cleanup Form2121

Note: For the question “Which beach access will your neighborhood clean?” — if you're using one of the listed public access points, please choose from the dropdown menu. If your cleanup will take place at your neighborhood’s access, you do not need to select an option from the dropdown.

Let’s work together to keep Walton County beautiful!
