Adult Holiday Activities 2017-18

WALTON COUNTY, Fla.—November 30, 2017— Kids aren’t the only ones who love Christmas time, so why let them have all the fun? With events ranging from Ugly Christmas Sweater parties to elegant holiday dinners, there are memories waiting to be made for adults ringing in the holiday season. Enjoy many of South Walton’s one of a kind restaurants and local hot spots with these holiday events geared toward the 18+ crowd.

 

Café Thirty-A’s Charity Christmas Soiree- Café Thirty-A, Seagrove, Dec 1st, 7-11 PM

Dinner, drinks and dancing are just the beginning of what will be offered at this year’s Charity Christmas Soiree hosted by Café Thirty-A. Patrons can also participate in raffles, take home keepsake photos from the photo booth and bid in a silent auction. This year’s event benefits Caring and Sharing of South Walton which provides food and assistance to residents in need. Tickets may be purchased online, Black Tie attire optional.  

 

Jingle and Mingle- Wine Bar- The Wine Bar at Grand Boulevard, Dec 3rd, 1-4 PM

Join The Wine Bar for an evening of drinks, appetizers, live music by Casey Kearney and raffle prizes with proceeds benefitting The Westonwood Ranch. The Westonwood Ranch is a non-profit vocational program designed to teach life skills and work skills to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other development disorders in a holistic, farm environment. Tickets are $50 and may be purchased online, limited number available, advance registration recommended.

 

Bijoux Holiday Wine Dinner- Bijoux Restaurant + Spirits, Miramar Beach, Dec 5th, 6-8 PM

Bijoux Restaurant + Spirits will host a holiday wine dinner Tuesday, Dec 5th benefitting the future Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Sacred Heart Hospital on the Emerald Coast. The featured wines of the evening will be paired with a fantastic four-course dinner prepared by Executive Chef Jack McGuckin. Seats are available for $150 per person and can be purchased online.

 

Holiday Toast on the Coast- Justin Gaffery’s Gallery, Blue Mountain, Dec 8th, 6-8:30 PM

The NW Florida Coast Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association will host its annual holiday reception and fundraiser featuring: area restaurant appetizers, wine and a silent auction. Auction items include: vacation stays, spa packages, local event tickets and more. Tickets are available for $25 for FPRA members, $30 for non-members and will increase in price the day of the event.

 

A Serendipitous Evening- Havana Rooftop Lounge, Rosemary, Dec 9th, 6-9 PM

Enjoy a couple’s only evening inspired by the movie “ Serendipity” played on the big screen surrounded by cozy blankets and pillows, perfect for date night. Enjoy unique popcorn flavors, flat bread pizzas and the signature frozen hot chocolate inspired by Serendipity Restaurant featured in the film. Guests will also receive a recipe card for each sweet treat provided. Reservations preferred, $50 per person.

 

Ugly Sweater and Mustache Soiree- Louis Louis, Santa Rosa Beach, Dec 9th, 9 PM

Benefitting Toys for Tots, bring a new unwrapped gift for a drink ticket and enjoy live jams by DJ Michael Desciple.  Food available for purchase. Advance reservations not required.

 

Restaurant Paradis Prohibition Repeal Party- Restaurant Paradis, Rosemary, Dec 9th, 6:30 PM

Join Restaurant Paradis for their annual Prohibition Repeal Party featuring vintage cocktails, wine and a delightful four-course dinner by Chef Mark Eichin, as well as photo opps with Eric Photo Company. 20’s themed attire and advance reservation encouraged. Seats are $125 per person.

 

AJ’s Ugly Christmas Sweater Party- AJ’s Grayton Beach, Dec 15th, 9 PM

Break out the hideous Christmas sweaters and put on your party pants, AJ’s at Grayton Beach is hosting their Ugly Christmas Sweater party featuring live music, drink specials, $250 in cash and prizes and more! A contest awarding the best male, female and couple ugly sweater will also take place. Food available for purchase.

 

The Grayt Santa Pub Crawl- Grayton Beach, Dec 16th, 3 PM

Benefitting the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, Whole Life Fitness is sponsoring the Grayt Santa Pub Crawl in Grayton Beach. Put together your best holiday themed costume and crawl your way around The Red Bar, Craft Bar 30A, AJ’s @ Grayton and Hurricane Oyster Bar. Your ticket includes: Food, Drink and Shot Specials, shuttle rides to each stop, keepsake photos, costume contests with prizes and live music at each stop. Wristbands can be purchased for $70 online or $75 at the event. Check-in will be at Hurricane Oyster Bar.

 

Emerald Coast Theatre Company: Improv Uncensored- Grand Boulevard, Sandestin, Dec 15th & 22nd, 9 PM

Much like the show “Whose Line is it Anyway?” in this show no topic is off limits. Patrons are invited to arrive early to allow time to peruse the local artists gallery located in the ECTC Lobby. Tickets are $10 and may be purchased online or at the door.

 

Holiday Champagne Tasting NEAT Tasting Room, Alys Beach, Dec 28th, 5-7 PM

Get bubbly with some bubbly at the NEAT Holiday Champagne tasting featuring live music, champagne offerings and Henry’s Pizza Truck (not included). Tasting cost is $35 per person, advance reservation not required.

 

Salute 2017- Fonville Press, Alys Beach, Dec31st, 11-2 PM

Indulge in some afternoon treats while participating in this Alys Beach New Year’s Tradition featuring Chris Alvarado. Leisurely enjoy light refreshments, cocktails and music while gearing up to say goodbye to another year.

 

The Red Bar’s New Year’s Eve Bash- The Red Bar, Grayton Beach, Dec 31st, 5-Midnight

Ring in the New Year at the local favorite, Red Bar featuring the Red Bar Jazz Band followed by a DJ pumping out dance hits to take you into 2018. From 5-9 guests can enjoy regular menu pricing and seating, but from 9 until midnight you enjoy a 4 course set menu with party favors and complimentary champagne! Reserve your seat now!

 

Café Thirty-A New Year’s Dinner- Café Thirty-A, Seagrove, Dec 31st, 6 PM -12:30 AM

Toast the New Year with Surfing Deer- Surfing Deer, Seagrove, Dec 31st, 6-10 PM

Join the fine folks at Surfing Deer in Seagrove for the New Year’s Dinner Celebration. The $130 seat cost includes a delightful five-course meal created by Executive Chef Gregg Smith, and for $55 more you can add-on wine pairings for each course. Advance reservations are required.

 

SOLARIS New Year’s Eve Fireworks Dinner Cruise -Baytowne Marina, Sandestin, Dec 31st 8 PM

Dine, dance and cruise your way into 2018 on the SOLARIS yacht. While the yacht carries you across the waters of the Choctawhatchee Bay, enjoy a five-course culinary adventure with choices including Seared Kurobuta Pork Belly and Chilean Sea Bass. Live music, party favors and a champagne toast will accompany a beautiful fireworks display to signal the beginning of the New Year. Advance reservations required, seats are $125 per person.

 

New Year’s Eve at AJ’s Grayton- AJ’s, Grayton Beach, Dec 31st, 9 PM
