Artist of the Year Hosts Grand Opening for New Store in South Walton
Walton County, FL – South Walton’s 2017 Artist of the Year Marisol Gullo is trading spaces and opening a new store in Miramar Beach.
Gullo and her husband, Tony, the former owners of Not Too Shabby in Santa Rosa Beach, will host a grand opening reception Aug. 31 from 5-8 p.m. at their new store, aptly named Not Too Shabby by Marisol Gullo located at 9755 Highway 98 West, Miramar Beach, FL.
The celebration is an opportunity to explore Gullo’s work, from fine art and custom furniture to linens, home accessories and much more. Enjoy live music from Chris Alvarado as well as snacks and cocktails from Cuvee Kitchen + Wine Bar.
As her business continues to grow, Gullo says the new location lends itself to more foot traffic and a much larger space for her to complete her work.
“Being selected as Artist of the Year has brought a lot of attention and made a big impact on me,” says Gullo, “business is growing and this location will allow us to showcase more art while also giving me more room to work.”
Gullo is the 15th recipient of the annual Artist of the Year award and serves as a spokesperson for South Walton’s thriving local creative community. Gullo’s acrylic art has many themes, but she says the colors, textures and subjects of her art are inspired by her South Walton surroundings.
