Spotlight Events:

August 2 & 9- Moonlight Movies & Face Painting- 8:15-10 p.m.

Bring the family out for a wholesome and fun movie night under the stars. Blankets and lawn chairs are encouraged. Come early to get your face painted, popcorn and hot dogs are available for purchase from DogManDu. Admission is free and open to the public.

August 3- SoWal Craft Beer & Spirits Festival at Shades Bar and Grill in Inlet Beach- Noon-4 p.m.

The Summer heat is no match for this craft beer and spirits festival. Cooled tents will host over 60 craft beers, ciders, Florida distilled craft spirits, and more. Beer and spirit experts will be on-site to share their knowledge, and food tasting will be provided by Shades Bar & Grill, Pescado Seafood Grill and Southside Slice. Tickets are available for purchase now.

August 6- Hydroflight Monday at The Village of Baytowne Wharf- 6:30 & 8:30 p.m.

Enjoy shows from fly-board extraordinaire Ben Merrell over the lagoon! Watch as he soars to the sky and makes waves at Baytowne Wharf. Free and Open to the public.

 

August 7- Boomin’ Tuesday at The Village of Baytowne Wharf- 7-9:30 p.m.

Enjoy lawn games, inflatables and more family fun on the lawn at Baytowne Wharf Tuesday with Fireworks beginning at 9:15 p.m. over the lagoon, food and beverage are available for purchase, admission is free and open to the public.

August 7- The Bryan Kennedy Show with Dave Perez at The Seaside Rep Theater- 8-10 p.m.

Prepare for a night of laughs and surprises as Bryan Kennedy returns to The REP stage fresh off the Garth Brooks World Tour. Bryan engages the crowd and creates a highly interactive show with special guests each night. Come for a night of original storytelling, extreme wit, and cowboy comedy! Special guest Dave Perez of the Tejas Brothers!

August 11- Party at the Pub with Grayton Beer- 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.

To celebrate the first beers brewed on their new, 7-barrel small-batch system, Grayton Beer Brewpub will host its first Party at the Pub. The day begins with a Cornhole Tournament beginning at 11, Live music by Boukou Groove, commemorative glasses and food specials.

August 18- Sea Turtle Baby Shower at Topsail Hill Preserve State Park- 4:30-7:30 p.m.

Celebrate sea turtle hatching season and Topsail Hill Preserve State Park’s birthday. Event attendees will not only learn about sea turtles but also about the creatures that share the Gulf with them and what we can do to help them. Of course there will be cake! 

August 23- Food for Thought Stock the Pantry Party- 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Join Food for Thought for their 5th annual food drive to stock the pantry for the 2018-2019 school year. Teams compete to collect the most food, and 1st-3rd place winners will be awarded. You can enter a team through their website, or attend the event for $5 or bring 5 food items. Food for Thought is a non-profit organization that provides backpacks filled with healthy, easy to prepare foods for students who receive free or reduced cost lunches.

August 30- Throwback Cinema at The Village of Baytowne Wharf- 7:30 p.m.

Throw it back to some of your favorite classic movies with The Village of Baytowne Wharf the last Thursday of every month this fall. All movie showings are family friendly and open to the public. August’s movie is The Little Rascals.

August 31- September 2- Baytowne Art Walk at The Village of Baytowne Wharf- 5-10 p.m.

Each evening from 5-10 you can stroll the village streets and experience a variety of artwork from over 30 regional and local artists. Enjoy live music throughout the festival from local artists and a spectacular fireworks show over the lagoon to end the weekend on Sunday at 9:15 p.m.

Morning Yoga with the Artists of Gulf Place- 8:30 a.m.

Start your week on a positive note with a Vinyassa Flow. Bring your mat and/or blanket and join Becky Oliphant-Smith in the town center loop. Drop in Fee is $20, no registration required.

The Prince & The Pauper at Seaside Amphitheater- 6:30 p.m.

Grab your blankets, chairs and the whole family and join the actors of the Seaside REP Theatre as they perform the classic tale, The Prince and The Pauper. The REP’s group of peppy players pounce through this comedic take on the classic story suited for all ages. Free and open to the public, food and beverage available for purchase.

Movie Monday at The HUB in WaterSound Beach- 7 p.m.  

Bring the whole family out for a free and open to the public movie night on The HUB lawn. Some seating is provided, blankets and chairs welcome. You can see Beauty and the Beast (1991), Jurassic Park, Field of Dreams and The Goonies.

Tuesdays:

Wine and Song at NEAT Bottle Shop in Alys Beach- 5-7 p.m.

Join NEAT Bottle Shop for a showcase of select wines and light bites with live music. Case deals will be available on featured wines. $15 per person, age 21 and up only.

Wednesdays:

Farmers Market at Seascape Towne Centre- 9a.m. – 1 p.m.

Come out to do your food shopping and choose from fresh farm produce, baked goods and pastries, delicious prepared foods, and much more.

Happy Hour Paddle with 30A Paddlboard Yoga- 3-6 p.m.

Beginning at 3 every Wednesday, the 3-mile round trip starts at the Paddle Hut at Tom’s Landing in Point Washington, located just 5 minutes North of Grayton Beach, travels down to The Bay Restaurant and back to Tom’s Landing. Food and Beverage available for purchase.

Beauty & The Beast at Rosemary Beach- 6:30 p.m.

Enjoy the Seaside RE Theatre group’s fun, family-friendly rendition of the classic tale, Beauty and the Beast every Wednesday in Rosemary. Bring a chair or blanket, snacks and drinks, and enjoy the show! Free and open to all ages.

Seaside Summer Concert Series- 7 p.m.

Celebrate the summer season with your friends and neighbors as Seaside welcomes the sounds of some of the region’s top musical acts. Music will fill Central Square and entertain guests of all ages.

Family Movie Night at The HUB at WaterSound Beach- 7 p.m.

Bring your blankets and lawn chairs for a family-friendly movie night on the lawn at The Hub. Admission is free and open to the public, food and beverage available for purchase. This month’s showings include: Inside Out, Minions, Monsters Inc., Cars, Madagascar and Kung Fu Panda.

Thursdays:

Ranger’s Choice Program at Topsail Hill Preserve State Park- 3 p.m.

Park Rangers invite visitors of all ages to come out to learn about a topic of the Ranger's choice for the week pertaining to the Park, wildlife, history, or anything under the sun at Topsail Hill Preserve State Park. Ranger's Choice Programs take place every Thursday at 3p.m. . Meet in the Clubhouse! Free with regular park admission.

30Avenue Concert Series- 6-9 p.m.

Join the fun at 30Avenue on Thursday & Friday nights on the green with exciting live music from 6-9p.m.  in July. Make plans to visit South Walton's growing shop + dine destination at Inlet Beach, take it easy on the green while enjoying the music of the area's top artists. Every Thursday & Friday from 6-9p.m. .

Fridays:

Seaside Central Square Cinemas at Seaside Amphitheater- 8 p.m.

Grab a blanket and come out to the Seaside Amphitheater on Friday night for a family movie on the lawn. Free and open to the public, refreshments available for purchase. Upcoming showings include: The Jungle Book (2016), Hairspray, Finding Nemo, and Coco.

Saturdays:

Seaside Farmer’s Market at Seaside Amphitheatre- 8 a.m.

Seaside Farmers Market takes place in the Seaside Amphitheater every Tuesday and Saturday rain or shine 8am-12p.m. ! Seaside Farmers Market is on a mission to educate the public about sustainable practices by providing a well-rounded, green living experience. Vendors offer farm fresh, locally grown produce, homemade baked goods, beef from happy cows, heirloom seeds, artisan breads and cheeses, organic eggs, preserves, and doggie treats, to name a few.

Farmer’s Market at Grand Boulevard in Miramar Beach- 9 a.m.  

From 9 a.m.- 1 p.m. the outdoor market will feature dozens of unique vendors offering locally sourced food items, such as produce, eggs, milk, cream, butter, grass-fed beef, chicken, lamb, pork, local honey, pickled vegetables, and gourmet jams. On the artisanal and green side, Grand Boulevard Farmers Market will offer flowers, herbs, soaps, and lotions.

30A Farmer’s Market at South Barrett Square in Rosemary Beach- 10 a.m.  

Come out to do your food shopping and pick up fresh from the farm produce, baked goods and pastries, delicious prepared foods, and much more. Take in the stunning views of Rosemary Beach where you'll find vendors lining the park with tents and all the good stuff. Grab a coffee from Amavida and sip as you shop.
