Spotlight Events:

August 31- September 2- Baytowne Art Walk at The Village of Baytowne Wharf 5-10 p.m.

The Village of Baytowne Wharf welcomes the fresh fall season under the moonlight with a weekend good for the art and soul with world-class art and live music in the Village Events Plaza. Exceptional artists featured in the area’s leading galleries from across the southeast will gather for this three-day festival featuring the best of the best in the world of art.

September 2- 7th Annual Alys Beach 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run 7-10 a.m.

Located along Hwy 30A, the course winds through the resort town and ends with an oversized obstacle course for kids of all ages. Music, food, and beverages will be available in the Amphitheatre at the after party.

September 2- Sinfonia Goes Pops at Alys Beach- 7:30-10 p.m.

Celebrate Labor Day holiday weekend in Alys Beach at the annual Sinfonia Goes Pops Concert followed by fireworks over the Gulf. Enjoy the orchestral sounds of Sinfonia Gulf Coast under the palm trees in the Alys Beach Amphitheatre. Bring blankets, low back chairs and your favorite beverage and grab a spot on the amphitheater lawn. Free and open to the public.

 

September 2- Labor Day End of Summer Celebration at Havana Beach Bar & Grill- 3-9 p.m.

Bring the whole crew to the rooftop for a special afternoon as The Pearl hosts their End of Summer Labor Day Celebration at Havana Beach Bar & Grill. Enjoy live music, craft beer and drink specials all day, along with a special menu available for purchase.

September 6- Wiggin’ Out for A Cause at Grand Boulevard- 5-10 p.m.

This entertaining, ladies night out will be filled with wine, food, music and wigs. Wiggin’ Out for a Cause is an annual signature event benefiting Emerald Coast Children’s Advocacy Center. Upon arriving, guests will grab a mystery swag bag with a wig inside before being whisked away into the style lounge for a wig and make-up touch-up. Enjoy karaoke, photo booths, silent auction and much more!

September 8- Sandestin Triathlon (start and finish at Sandestin Resort)

More than 800 participants will swim, bike and run along the Emerald Coast of Florida. Triathlon course includes half-a-mile swim in the Gulf of Mexico, 20-mile bike along the flat scenic coastline, and 4 mile-run beachside and bayside through beautiful Sandestin Resort. Proceeds benefit Sandestin Foundation for Kids.

September 8- NASH Next at The Village of Baytowne Wharf- 7 p.m.

Join The Village of Baytowne Wharf to watch the finalist for NASH Next perform for their chance to go to Nashville as the next NASH FM star. Enjoy music from Casey Kearney, Terry Lee Bolton, Jessie Ritter and Robert Wayne. Admission is free and open to the public.

September 15- International Coastal Cleanup Day at Topsail Hill State Park- 9-11 a.m.

Help keep the beach safe for the threatened and endangered species that call the beach home by minimizing the impact of marine debris on the beach and in the Gulf. To register as a beach cleanup volunteer please call 850-267-8330 and provide your name, email address, phone number and number of people coming. Volunteer check-in is at Tram Stop #3 (after the 9 am tram arrives). Volunteers need to bring a hat, sunscreen, and a water bottle and dress appropriately for the weather.  Gloves, trash bags, and buckets will be provided.

September 21- Harvest Moon Celebration- All Day

Join participants for a donation based morning yoga meditation at the WaterColor RUN/SUP Boathouse at 9 a.m. led by Mindy Norris with coffee provided by Black Bear Bread Company and juices by Raw and Juicy. End the evening with a celebration of the Harvest Moon at Grayton Beer Company Tap Room featuring food from the Grayton Beer Brewpub, live music opening with Max McCann Beach Mountain Blues and Headliners Huck & Lily, a silent auction and a raffle. Tickets are $65 in advance or $75 at the door.

September 27- Throwback Thursday Movie at Baytowne Wharf- 5-7 p.m.

Watch a classic-favorite film on the big-screen at Baytowne Wharf. Grab your lawn chair, blanket, and the whole family for a family-friendly movie night under the stars. Admission is free and open to the public, refreshments are available for purchase. This month you can catch The Lion King and next month, gear up for Halloween with Hocus Pocus.

September 28- 6th Annual Fore Her Golf Outing- 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Get teed up and ready for a day of golf at the 6th Annual FORE HER Golf Outing on Friday, September 28, 2018, at Santa Rosa Golf & Beach Club. The money raised from this event will go directly to local individuals battling breast cancer. The $110 fee per golfer includes breakfast, lunch, the green fee, and a cart. But, attendees can expect even more, including a silent auction, food donated by Centennial Bank, beer samples from Grayton Beer Company, a chance to win a golf cart from Dixielectricar and an opportunity to compete for 1,000 dollars in the third annual Helicopter Golf Ball Drop by Panhandle Helicopter.

 

 

September 29- Sinfonia Swings at Grand Boulevard- 7:30-9:30 p.m.

Join Grand Boulevard as they host a free community concert, Sinfonia Swings on the Boulevard, featuring members of Sinfonia Gulf Coast and the Joe Gransden Big Band! Enjoy the best view in Grand Park with the VIP experience which Includes pre-concert reception, reserved seating on the patio or garden room at Tommy Bahama Cafe during the performance, and a 3-course prix fixe meal. Cash bar and gratuity not included.

Girls Sweat 30 at The Boathouse Paddle Club in WaterColor – 3:45-4:45

Girls Sweat 30A is a fun, positive, and empowering environment that will create a lifelong pursuit of health and wellness for girls of all ages. Sessions will introduce a variety of fitness activities to each level. This program will develop a positive attitude towards fitness and girls will walk away with confidence. Elementary-aged girls meet on Monday and Middle School aged girls meet on Wednesday.

Tuesdays:

Wine and Song at NEAT Bottle Shop in Alys Beach- 5-7 p.m.

Join NEAT Bottle Shop for a showcase of select wines and light bites with live music. Case deals will be available on featured wines. $15 per person, age 21 and up only.

Classic Movie Night at The HUB in Watersound Beach- 7-9

Bring the whole family with chairs and blankets for a classic movie night under the stars at The Hub. Food and Drinks are available for purchase, admission is free and open to the public.

Wednesdays:

Family Movie Night at The HUB at WaterSound Beach- 6 p.m.

Bring your blankets and lawn chairs for a family-friendly movie night on the lawn at The Hub. Admission is free and open to the public, food, and beverage available for purchase. This month’s showings include: Inside Out, Minions, Monsters Inc., Cars, Madagascar and Kung Fu Panda.

Wednesday Night Concert Series at The Village of Baytowne Wharf- 7-9 p.m.

This fall relax outdoors with a concert at the Village of Baytowne Wharf front lawn. Wednesday nights enjoy live music from a variety of local and regional artists. Don’t forget your lawn chairs and blankets, admission is free and open to the public. Groove to the sounds of The Blenders, Forrest Williams, Modern Eldorados and The Courtyard Saints this month.

Thursdays:

30Avenue Concert Series- 6-9 p.m.

Join the fun at 30Avenue on Thursday & Friday nights on the green with exciting live music lawn games and photos from Epic Photo Co. Make plans to visit South Walton's growing shop + dine destination at Inlet Beach, take it easy on the green while enjoying the music of the area's top artists. Every Thursday and Friday night from 6-9 p.m.

Fridays:

Seaside Central Square Cinemas at Seaside Amphitheater- 8 p.m.

Grab a blanket and come out to the Seaside Amphitheater on Friday night for a family movie on the lawn. Free and open to the public, refreshments available for purchase. Upcoming showings include The Truman Show, Hook, A League of Their Own and E.T.

Saturdays:

Seaside Farmer’s Market at Seaside Amphitheatre- 8 a.m.

Seaside Farmers Market takes place in the Seaside Amphitheater every Tuesday and Saturday rain or shine 8am-12p.m.! Seaside Farmers Market is on a mission to educate the public about sustainable practices by providing a well-rounded, green living experience. Vendors offer farm fresh, locally grown produce, homemade baked goods, beef from happy cows, heirloom seeds, artisan breads and cheeses, organic eggs, preserves, and doggie treats, to name a few.

Farmer’s Market at Grand Boulevard in Miramar Beach- 9 a.m.  

From 9 a.m.- 1 p.m. the outdoor market will feature dozens of unique vendors offering locally sourced food items, such as produce, eggs, milk, cream, butter, grass-fed beef, chicken, lamb, pork, local honey, pickled vegetables, and gourmet jams. On the artisanal and green side, Grand Boulevard Farmers Market will offer flowers, herbs, soaps, and lotions.

College Football Saturdays at The HUB in Watersound Beach – 11 a.m.

 

Come watch your favorite team on the 25-foot jumbotron surrounded by other football fans. In addition to the 25-foot screen, The Hub has 13 flat screens around the area so you don’t have to miss a second. Enjoy food and beverages available for purchase, lawn chairs and blankets are encouraged.

30A Farmer’s Market at South Barrett Square in Rosemary Beach- 10 a.m.  

Come out to do your food shopping and pick up fresh from the farm produce, baked goods and pastries, delicious pre-prepared foods, and much more. Take in the stunning views of Rosemary Beach where you'll find vendors lining the park with tents and all the good stuff. Grab a coffee from Amavida and sip as you shop.

NFL Southern Sundays at The HUB in Watersound Beach- 11 a.m.

Watch your favorite NFL team on the HUB’s 25′ LED Jumbotron & 13  Flat Screens, plus enjoy some Southern-style food specials only available on Sundays! Free and Open to the public, lawn chairs and blankets encouraged.
