Spotlight Events:

Nov. 1-2: South Walton Celebrity Golf Classic: 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Hit the championship links with dozens of sports legends and other celebrities in the 23rd Annual South Walton Celebrity Golf Classic at the Raven and Baytowne Golf Clubs and the Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort and Spa. Proceeds from the event will benefit our nation's homeless veterans by providing quality housing and supportive services.

 

Nov. 1-2: Mountainfilm on Tour at WaterColor: 5:45 p.m.

Celebrating its 19th year, this outdoor film festival is dedicated to educating, inspiring, and motivating audiences about issues that matter. Each year, a selection of films from the International Film Festival is taken on the road to reach audiences who otherwise would not have a chance to experience the festival. The films selected for the show will explore themes connected to the Mountainfilm mission of exploring cultures, preserving environments, and promoting adventure. A Mountainfilm presenter will guide the audience through the program providing insight on the films, filmmakers and subjects.

 

Nov. 2: Southern Women of Style: 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.

Garden and Gun celebrates the release of its fifth book, Southern Women, with a beautiful luncheon and conversation on Southern style at Alys Beach. Charlotte-based interior, furniture, and accessories designer Barrie Benson joins interior designer, author, and coastal design authority Elaine Griffin. These industry leaders discuss interior design taste and trends in a lively conversation led by G&G’s style director, Haskell Harris. Tickets are available for purchase at the link below.

 

Nov. 2: The Market Shops 5th Annual Bloody Mary Festival: 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

The Market Shops 5th Annual Bloody Mary Festival benefiting Habitat for Humanity of Walton County features unlimited tastes of the Emerald Coast’s most creative and innovative Bloody Marys made with Cathead Vodka and served by the finest restaurants and bars, all competing to win the title of Best Bloody Mary in South Walton.

In addition to the drinks, guests in attendance will enjoy food from The Market Shops Merchants, craft beer by Grayton Beer Company, champagne, “boozy” popsicles, shopping, live entertainment by Dread Clampitt, a commemorative photo booth, music, lawn games, and live streaming of SEC football throughout the event. Tickets are currently on sale for the pre-sale price of $40 or can be purchased the day of the event at the door for $50.

 

Nov. 7-10: 29th Annual Seeing Red Wine Festival in Seaside

The Seeing Red Wine Festival at Seaside is one of the area’s most highly anticipated events. Decades of southern tradition in this charming beach town are complimented by a wonderful afternoon event sure to satisfy a taste for wine and the beach!

Friday: 6-8:30 p.m. - Al Fresco Reserve Wine Tasting at Ruskin Place:
An elegant evening showcasing a carefully curated selection of reserve wines, featuring exclusive vintages. An array of hors d’oeuvres prepared by Chef Jim Shirley’s culinary team will pair perfectly with the featured wines. Enjoy live music under the stars on a beautiful Fall evening in Ruskin Place.

Saturday: 1-4 p.m. - Grand Tasting in Downtown Seaside & Ruskin Place
Seaside’s Central Square will come alive with quality wines for tasting curated by Seaside’s own restaurants and eateries, hand-selected food offerings chosen by Seaside’s popular and well-known local chefs, as well as live music, and the opportunity to purchase wines on site.

Sunday: 10 a.m.-1 p.m. - Celebration of Bubbles Brunch at Ruskin Place
Sunday wraps up the weekend with a Celebration of Bubbles, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. in Ruskin Place. Sparkling wine enthusiasts will explore Champagne, Cava, Prosecco and more, alongside a perfectly paired menu from Chef Jim Shirley.

 

Nov. 16: Best of the Emerald Coast: 6-9 p.m.

Join an evening of celebration at Grand Boulevard with the 2019 winners of the “Best of the Emerald Coast.” The 20th year of this annual event will be a night of food, fashion and fun as guests sample from the best restaurants, shopping and businesses on the Emerald Coast. Enjoy an evening of community and experience the unique attributes that made this year’s winners stand out among the crowd.

 

Nov. 16: Sparkling Wine & Holiday Lights: 4-6 p.m.

Sparkling Wine and Holiday Lights will take place on the beautifully decorated streets of Baytowne Wharf and feature more than 30 champagnes and delicious appetizers at featured Village restaurants. The event will end with the first tree lighting of the season and Baytowne Wharf's choreographed light show, 12 Nights of Lights.

 

Nov. 23: The Nutcracker at Seaside Amphitheatre: 5 p.m.

Join Ballet Pensacola for the Seventh annual performance of the ballet that launched a national holiday tradition, the Nutcracker, based on the critically acclaimed Russian ballet set to Tchaikovsky’s beloved score.

 

Nov. 26: Festival of Trees: 4-6 p.m.

Festival of Trees held annually at Grand Boulevard, showcases uniquely decorated Christmas trees from 12 local, non-profits. The trees debut the Tuesday before Thanksgiving and remain in the park through Christmas for the public to enjoy and learn more about the missions of these organizations. The trees will remain on display through Christmas Day. Open to the public at no charge.

 

Nov. 27-28: 30A Thanksgiving Day 10K, 5K and one-mile fun run

The 30A 10K is the second largest road race in South Walton with an estimated 6,000 participants, vendors and volunteers joining together throughout the community. The 30A 10K is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to serve the community by producing a fun and safe race with related events that raise money for contribution to local charities while promoting health and fitness. On Wednesday, race shirts and packets will be available for pick-up from noon to 7 p.m. during the Thanksgiving Extravaganza, which features fun for the whole family at the Hub. Race day will be on Thanksgiving Day starting at 5:30 a.m.

Nov. 30: Bocce on the Green

It's tournament time! Registration is at 9:30 a.m. and play begins at 10 a.m. $60 per team. Register online at www.Bocceonthegreen.com. 

 

Nov. 30: Old Florida Holiday & Winter Market: 5-9 p.m.

The WaterColor Community Association will host their 12th annual Old Florida Holiday & Winter Market in WaterColor’s Town Center & Cerulean Park. This event is a holiday extravaganza complete with snow, carriage rides around the park, bonfires and s'mores, pictures with Santa, lighting of the tree, holiday music and a winter market full of gifts, sights, smells and tastes of the season. This event is open to WaterColor residents, guests and the public and is free of charge for attendees.

Coastal White Christmas Holiday Lights

Starting Nov. 23, visit Grand Boulevard during the holiday season to enjoy decor and programming. The Town Center will feature thousands of beautiful white lights, bringing a festive and inviting spirit to the Boulevard. Open to the public at no charge.

 

Seaside Farmer’s Market at Seaside Amphitheatre: 9 a.m.

Seaside Farmers Market takes place in the Seaside Amphitheater every Saturday rain or shine 9 a.m.-12p.m.! Seaside Farmers Market is on a mission to educate the public about sustainable practices by providing a well-rounded, green living experience. Vendors offer farm fresh, locally grown produce, homemade baked goods, beef from happy cows, heirloom seeds, artisan breads and cheeses, organic eggs, preserves, and doggie treats, to name a few.

 

Farmer’s Market at Grand Boulevard: 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

Every Saturday, year-round, rain or shine, the Grand Boulevard Farmer's Market features dozens of unique vendors offering mostly locally sourced food-based items such as produce, grass-fed beef, chicken, and pork, local honey, pickled vegetables, gourmet jams, unique homemade hummus, flowers, herbs, soaps and lotions and much more.

 

Family Challenge Saturdays at Topsail Hill Preserve State Park: 9 a.m.

Every Saturday bring the family to Topsail Hill Preserve State Park for a fun challenge you can complete together. Challenges range from geocaching, photo scavenger hunt, a beach scavenger hunt, or an art challenge! Check in at the Park Store between 9 a.m. – 2 p.m for your family challenge packet. Upon completion, return the packet to the Park Store for your treat.

30A Farmer’s Market in Rosemary Beach: 9 a.m.  

Come out to do your food shopping and pick up fresh from the farm produce, baked goods and pastries, delicious prepared foods, and much more. Take in the stunning views of Rosemary Beach where you'll find vendors lining the park with tents and all the good stuff.

 

Sunday Brunch at Pescado: 10:30 a.m.

Chef Ken Duenas has prepared an elegant and sophisticated brunch menu. Take in the relaxing views of Rosemary Beach from Pescado’s rooftop while drinking Mimosas and Rose – all day. Live acoustic music from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. with weekly rotating artists. 10:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Sundays.
